It all started with a proposal. Mikaela got engaged to her now husband in January of 2024. Before that special day, Mikaela had felt so-so about her teeth. But with the wedding date set at the end of 2024, she decided that now was the time to achieve the perfect smile ahead of her big day.

She scoured the internet and fell upon Weiler Orthodontics. “Everybody was raving! [Reviews said that] he was super attentive, super particular, which you’re looking for in an orthodontist.”

During her initial consultation, in March, she explained her situation. Mikaela was getting married in December and wanted a beautiful smile (and her braces off) before her wedding.

“It was amazing because he said we could start that day.” Mikaela received her bottom braces the same day as her initial consultation, and with that, her treatment plan was put into action. “[Dr. Weiler] was really eager to get started, and he was very transparent during that process as well.”

Mikaela’s treatment plan continued, and with every visit, she marveled at how welcoming the staff was. “You walk in and you feel like you’re home.” Mikaela and the front staff would chat about Mikaela’s wedding plans, ogling over her engagement ring and her gorgeous engagement photos. The staff even sent her gifts after her wedding alongside handwritten letters. “It makes you really feel seen as a person, not just a patient.”

The end of November came, and the time for Mikaela’s braces removal was here. At first, Mikaela was admittedly nervous. What if they didn’t turn out how she wanted? What if the time crunch was too much? However, all worries subsided when Dr. Weiler held his mirror up to Mikaela for the first time. “The first moment I [saw] my teeth, I was blown away. It was exactly what I was looking for.”

Amidst the excitement and joy of her wedding, Mikaela was so grateful that she had a smile as radiant as she was that day. “It was such a surreal feeling to be able to look back and be super impressed with my smile.”
